The Carmel Quartet aims to enrich the listening experience by placing the compositions performed within a wider cultural context. The concerts combine a lecture in English, theatrical excerpts and literary examples.This concert will include: Sonata for two violins by Dario Castello, Trio Sonata for two violins by Archangelo Corelli, Partita for two violins by Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber and Folia for two violins and Basso Continuo by Antonio Vivaldi.
